Ingrédients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Étapes

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  2. Beat together sugar and egg.
  3. Add molasses and oil.
  4. In a separate bowl, blend dry ingredients; add to egg mixture with buttermilk; blend well.
  5. Mix in raisins, if desired.
  6. Pour batter into greased 9 x 5 inch pan; let stand for 15 minutes.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
